Who we are definitley defines what we do. I try to live accordingly although it can be challenging to live around those who dont care to live the same.

The bicycle is a good metaphor. When you're riding a bike there are two ways of looking ahead. One is with your head down looking at every little detail of the road ahead. The other is with your head up looking down the road toward the horizon. When you ride with your head down you tend to react to every bump and wobble trying to correct for every movement of the bike. At the end of the ride you're tired and tense. When you keep your head up you're looking at the horizon (or future) and your riding becomes more relaxed and joyful.
So don't go through life with your head down reacting to every little twist and jiggle that comes along but keep your head up focused on the finish, "Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God." Hebrews 12:2 The Message
In His Mighty Grip,
